Advance Digital Systems provides end-to-end technology services for strata title complexes, helping committees, building managers, and owners corporations improve security, reliability, and day-to-day operations. We design, supply, install, and support CCTV systems, access control, intercoms, alarm monitoring readiness, and secure building networks (including Wi-Fi and structured cabling) to keep sites connected and protected.

Strata sites have unique challenges—multiple entry points, shared spaces, visitor access, after-hours incidents, and the need for clear accountability. That’s why we take a whole-of-building approach: we assess risk areas, ensure coverage of common areas (lobbies, lifts, corridors, car parks, plant rooms and loading zones), and deliver systems that are easy to manage with fast access to footage, reliable remote viewing, and sensible user permissions for authorised stakeholders. On-site, we work to site rules and safety requirements: our technicians hold current general construction induction (White Card) where required for construction sites, and we provide site safety documentation (JSA and, where the work meets “high risk construction work”, a SWMS as required). For customer cabling works, we close out properly with ACMA Telecommunications Cabling Advice documentation—issuing a TCA1 on completion and using TCA2 where proposed works may be compromised by existing cabling.

Licensing and Industry Compliance

We ensure every strata job is delivered under the right licensing and regulatory settings—because that’s what protects the owners corporation and keeps the system defensible over its full life. In NSW, anyone installing/servicing security equipment (including CCTV and alarm systems) needs the appropriate security licence class/subclass (e.g., Class 2C for security equipment work), and we treat this as a baseline requirement for compliant delivery. For communications cabling (security/data/network cabling), we follow the ACMA cabling framework and complete the required handover records, including TCA forms at job completion.

Key Australian Standards & Safety

We install cabling to AS/CA S009:2020 because it’s the Wiring Rules standard the ACMA requires cabling work to comply with, and it sets the practical installation and safety requirements for fixed/concealed customer cabling in buildings. We also specify compliant cabling products in line with the ACMA’s adoption of AS/CA S008 (so the materials used meet the applicable technical requirements, not just the design intent). The outcome is safer pathways, cleaner installs, fewer faults, and a system that remains maintainable for future upgrades.

New Cybersecurity & Privacy Laws

We treat CCTV footage, access events, and remote access as sensitive by default—then design the system around controlled permissions, secure access, and clear accountability. Where an organisation is covered by the Privacy Act and the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme, we aim to reduce risk through practical controls (who can view/export footage, strong admin access, and sensible retention/handovers) and clear processes if an incident ever occurs. (If you want, I can tailor this section specifically to NSW strata use-cases and your actual system workflows.)

Strata-Specific Requirements

We deliver projects in a way that suits strata governance and common-property realities—approvals, access arrangements, and records are treated as part of the scope, not an afterthought.

We plan coverage and cabling routes around shared spaces and operational constraints, then provide a handover pack that helps committees and building managers operate the system responsibly over time (credentials/permissions, as-installed details, and cabling compliance documentation such as TCA forms).
