Where we temporarily access CCTV footage for commissioning, troubleshooting or support purposes, access is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the service being provided.

The customer remains responsible for the lawful operation of their CCTV system and for complying with any laws or obligations that apply to the recording, storage or use of footage.

PASSWORDS AND LOGIN CREDENTIALS

Where possible, customers should create and maintain their own passwords and administrator credentials.

If credentials are temporarily provided to us for installation or support:

  • they should only be used for the authorised service

  • customers should change temporary or shared passwords where appropriate after the work is completed

  • we do not intentionally retain passwords unless this is necessary for an agreed ongoing support arrangement

We recommend using strong, unique passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication where supported.
